BYFE — Reality Emergence Lab

Reality is not rendered. It emerges.

A private computational research beta validating whether a minimal discrete substrate produces measurable, emergent structure.

BYFE is not a consumer GA release. Invited researchers and technical profiles access the Phase 0 workspace during validation and return structured feedback — observed and measured, not assumed.

No fee during validation. Access is invite-only and tied to structured research feedback.

01 · Private beta

Private research beta

Apply with two short questions. Selected participants receive workspace access, run reproducible experiments, and complete a structured feedback cycle that feeds the Phase 0 Go/No-Go review.

Apply

Role, intent, and how you will stress-test emergence hypotheses. Review is selective.

Validate in the lab

Approved profiles access the gated workspace: presets, field, metrics, and reproducible runs.

Return evidence

A concise structured form closes the loop — whether the substrate yields measurable emergence.

Request access

Two short questions. Selective review — no product roadmap commitments. Structured feedback follows workspace use.

02 · Substrate

A substrate for measurable emergence

A minimal computational substrate: discrete cells, local rules, finite propagation, and explicit state transitions — conditions for phenomena to emerge, not scripts to render them.

Local rules

Each cell interacts only with itself and neighbors. No global shortcuts, no scripted objects, no narrative entities.

Measurable dynamics

Energy, information, coherence, and motion are tracked through explicit metrics before interpretation.

Emergent structures

Waves, clusters, and mobile formations are phenomena the engine is built to reveal — not hardcoded outcomes.

  • Observe before interpreting — labels follow from metrics, not narrative scripts.
  • Anchor claims to evidence — drift, persistence, reproducible seeds, and benchmark comparisons.

03 · Phase 0 validation

Phase 0 validation

Current focus: verify whether the minimal substrate produces visible, measurable, and controllable emergent behavior. Runnable presets and validation status are listed below.

SubstrateDiscrete grid, conservative local rules, synchronous steps, reproducible seeds.
PhenomenaWaves, clusters, drift control, and benchmark comparisons against reference baselines.
ReviewScorecard, mandatory benchmarks, external review, and documented Go/No-Go evidence.

Outcome is engine validation with evidence — not a finished consumer platform. Proceeding beyond research depends on the Phase 0 report.

Validation experiments

Validation experiments

Each row maps to a Phase 0 behavior class. Status reflects what is runnable in the lab today, under formal validation, or planned in spec — not a product roadmap.

Pure Energy Field

Runnable

Minimal field for diffusion, conservation, and stability on a discrete substrate.

Diffusion baseline

Runnable

Reference benchmark for drift and control runs — comparison anchor for emergent presets.

Wave Equation Baseline

Runnable

Reference wave propagation for interference, damping, and directional motion versus emergent variants.

Wave / Interference

Runnable

Propagation fronts, interference, and directional patterns from local neighbor interactions.

Coherence Clusters

In validation

Persistent structures via area, duration, and local coherence thresholds — under Phase 0 scorecard validation.

Particle-like Motion

Planned

Mobile formations preserving recognizable structure across the field — specified, not yet in the workspace.

Fibonacci Quantized Field

Planned

Multi-scale quantization experiment — specified for benchmark comparison, not yet in the workspace.

04 · Workspace

Experimentation workspace

Gated lab environment: presets, simulation field, metrics, and reproducible runs in one workspace. Operational UI is English; additional experiments may appear in the validation grid below.

BYFE · Lab · Phase 0Idle

Non-binding workspace preview. Presets, metrics, and operational layout may change until the Phase 0 Go/No-Go report.

05 · Cohort
